Gayle was like a sister to me. We lived across the street from each other from birth and basically saw each other almost every day of our lives until I got married at age 20! She had a wry sense of humor that kept our group highly entertained for years. A big part of my childhood died when she left us. We were the keepers of each others’ hopes, dreams, and disappointments. She was a tall, beautiful, German blonde, but she never knew it! Her self-deprecating humor reflected that modesty. Wait, come to think of it, we didn’t escape that deprecation, either! But we all loved her in spite of, or perhaps because of, that biting wit. Here’s to you, Gayle: the 7th Wild Loose Woman.  

Gayle, we love you and you left us way too soon.Cheri, Kathy, Sharon, Cindy, Margo & Camille(I tried to find a picture of her, but she did not like having pictures taken, so I found nothing. Cheri Ackerblade grew up with her so maybe she will be able to find one of Gayle way back when. Gayle had a humor like nobody I know. We have so many good memories of our time spent with her. ♥)
