Psychologist Married 4 2012-08-12 13:02:40
Cindy and I have four children, three granddaughters.  I worked for the state n a DHS program for over 31 years and retired from there in May of 2011.  I now work with Riverwood Mental Health Centers and do some private consulting.  I enjoy getting together with my old buds Rob Wolak, Mike Borg, Greg Burns and Dan Zismer.  I continue to pine for more time to camp in the BWCA, fish, golf, and have time with friends, family and the outdoors Send Steve a MessageSend Steve a Message

Retired Teacher Married 1 2012-08-10 11:37:48
Mark and I have been married 28 years. We have a daughter, Alyssa (24). We have lived in Brooklyn Center almost all of our married life. I graduated from Augsburg College in 1977 and got a teaching job in Minneapolis right away. I taught mostly 1st grade for 35 years and recently retired! I am involved in our community Relay for Life. As a survivor of cancer, I am passionate about raising money to find a cure. I am an election judge (Go VOTE!!!) and I work with a mentally disabled,but, pretty independent woman, twice a week. In my free time (LOL) I like to read, journal, bake, knit/crochet and sit on my deck with a beverage. I can hardly believe we have been out of HS 40 years :}

Retired Married 2012-08-08 18:24:20
 I have been married to David for the past 35 years.  We didn't have any children, but we have one niece from my side and one nephew from David's side.  Between them we have 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew who are the light of my life.  I am closer to them than their grandmothers are.

During our early years, we loved to do a lot of traveling but since we retired 15 years ago we are staying closer to home and enjoying our "kids".  We have lived in South Minneapolis all of our married life but recently have been talking about moving somewhere warmer.  We just can't agree on where.

I have been big on volunteering and have been a member of the Minnesota Women of Today for the past 25 years.  It is a great organization for women of all ages and I have loved every moment of it.

Accounting Supervisor Married 1 2012-08-08 15:28:20
After High School I attended Brainerd Technical College where I met my wife Jackie who is from Aitkin.  We have been married for 35 years and have one daughter who is married and living in British Columbia, Canada.  I have been with Supervalu in their Accounting Department for 38 years.  I try and spend as much time as possible fishing and hunting around Aitkin and in Canada.  I also enjoy my motorsports (NASCAR, NHRA, and World of Outlaws) and try at attend as many events as possible.  While I do my hobbies, Jackie goes shopping so I'm sure she spends more than I spend.  Looking forward to retiring in a few years and hopefully moving somewhere North to do more of the things I like.       Send Terry a MessageSend Terry a Message

Admin. Ass't-Retired/Disability in 2010 Single Again 2012-08-08 10:41:02
Left lovely New Hope in 1972 for even lovlier Bemidji State College to take up Mass Communications.  Worked as a work study student in the Indian Studies dept. and it's been 40 years of rock & roll since then!  Who knew in Study Hall at Cooper what would really lie ahead for us?!

Married to a Vietnam former Marine from White Earth rez (reservation) named 'Badboy' from 1977-1986.  Changed name back to 'Brown' due to too many Madonna 'Bad Bad Bad Girl' jokes!  Unfortunately no children but our family does have my sister's son, Dakota, who is now 20 & too big to arm wrestle any longer.  So happy to see that a lot of you ol' boomers made your own lil' 2nd generation boomers & grandboomers!  Good job!!!!

Worked for American Indian non-profits for 1/2 my career and for Honeywell and the U of M for the other half!  Became diabetic right after college and in 2001 received precious transplants of a pancreas & kidney.  Worked until July 2010 when I thought it was time to 'give it a rest.'

This also is in memory of our mother who passed on this year from sudden lung/liver cancer at age 81.  Clarie was a beautiful & hard working farm girl from Hamel, MN who will be forever loved & missed!  Also, R.I.P. Dad in 1997 from diabetes.

Doing good now.  Hope you all are too. Vote for Obama! (tee hee you Republicans!)

Independent Reliv Distributor debbiesias.com Married 5 2012-08-07 12:19:46
 Life is always full of suprises. I am so grateful to have my health back, so I can enjoy my 5 children, 2 grandchildren overseas, a small place to live overlooking a little lake in the woods where my husband has been writing a book and enough roller coaster  life expereinces to write my own book, but I haven't. I enjoy mini-Cooper reunions with others who live up in the north woods as I locate them. I've been homeschooling since 1981 and almost ready to retire from that and pursue my Reliv business. administrative assist/Resource Development Married 3 2012-08-03 23:09:10
In 1976 I married and moved to the same county in ND where my mother grew up.  The first 32 years were spent in the small town of Lakota (pop. approx 850).  I still work there but now reside in the country, about 1 mile from a smaller town, Pekin (pop 60 at best) 20 miles south of Lakota.  I have 3 grown children, 2 girls & 1 boy and 2 grandchildren, a boy and a girl. Fortunately, none live too far from me!  After being single for 6 years, I got married again (that's why I moved).  Hubby is retired, I have been working part-time for the last year and a half.  Just starting a new pt job for the local nursing home as "Director of Resource Development."  That means I get to write newsletters and seek donations for the home.  I love ND and the small town, rural lifestyle!  I am looking forward to next weekend though.  Haven't been to the metro area since 2006 when my brother Steve passed away.  I'd say it's time for a visit!  Thanks to everyone who organized this event!
